Hello Blogosphere.

Wow, ok, well it just took me a good 20 mins to figure out how to log into my blog account to make this first post, so that should tell you that I am not a computer kind of guy. I have never written nor read a blog before, so this is all new to me. However, it appears that this may be very helpful to some of you, and I love tell those younger than me how to live their lives, so I decided to give it a shot.

A little bit about me: I am a senior industrial major, as the blog title states. I grew up in New York not too far north of here, and my years in the ID department have been by far the most intense years of my life. They should feel the same for you too, and if they don't, you're doing something wrong. The infrequency of my post should tell you just how busy this department can keep you, even your senior year. However, it can be worth it...

These blogs are supposed to be about finding a job at the end of school. Well, I am fortunate enough to have been hired this past Februaury by Reebok. I will be designing performance running footwear for them starting this June. However, there were many different steps taken in order to put me in this position. My blog will talk mostly all those little steps along the years, because those "chain of event" things always fascinate me. I will start from the beginning (sophomore year) in my next post...
