Dear Diary

Ok, so first of all, cold weather sucks. So do the last few weeks of school as a senior because your motivation to do anything besides just hang out with your friends goes from small to non-existant. Anyways, I said I would chronicle the events that allowed me to get my job, and I will do that. Starting now.....

Alright, so sophomore year ID majors are required to take a drawing class. Pretty basic ID drawing. Every once in a while my teacher, Joel, would give us a sort of "free assignment" thing where we could draw whatever we wanted as long as we used the techniques explained in class. Not suprisingly, I always drew sneakers. No one ever thought much of it, they just figured I really liked sneakers. However, all of these free assignments would eventually pay off in a very big way Junior year. Coming totally out of the blue, all those free assignment basically pulled me out of the hopeless pit of working at the local grocery store all summer again. I will explain more next time.

Oh by the way, when you're a senior, do NOT create a schedule in which you have classes 6 days a week, cause doing homework on Friday nights really sucks. Oh well, 4 more weeks......
